F-CPU project, jul. 10th 2001 : WELCOME.TXT

Hello,

The F-CPU project is almost 3 years old now and it is not
going to die : you are now contemplating the growing
result of endless discussions and work, over the
Internet and in real life. The meeting at HAL (Holland)
in August is going to be a real cool anniversary "party".

The goals and history are explained in the F-CPU manual,
included in this archive. Older versions are available online,
some archives are stored at http://www.f-cpu.de.
This manual is the living heart of the project, and unlike
a Bible, you can become a part of the story : write it with us !

This package contains commented source files and scripts necessary to
understand (if you have read the F-CPU manual), modify,
compile and simulate/emulate the F-CPU model (or at least
the only working things that have been done up to now ...)

Please read the CHARTER.TXT, COPYING.TXT, CAPABILITIES.TXT
and README.TXT for additional information about the
practices, the licencing terms, the revisions and the
features implemented in this bundle.

have fun,
YG
